On the first of April this year, there was no room for practical jokes, or humor of any kind, among executives of Seagate Technology’s product design center in southwest Longmont.

As many of you may have heard, the Longmont Leader will be taking over the newsroom for the Longmont Observer sometime in May. In the meantime, they are looking for locals to staff their newsroom.

When we first started the Longmont Observer three years ago, we knew we wanted to create a local news source that was by and for the people of Longmont.

Longmont United Hospital (LUH) recently celebrated 60 years of service in the Longmont community.
