Police arrest man sought in connection with assault, death of 71-year-old man

Edward Herbert Hoid, 36, was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. Friday. He has been charged with a parole violation, menacing, criminal mischief and three counts of vehicle trespass in connection with events that led to his arrest.
