WELFARE CHECK On June 3, 2019 at approximately 0526 hours, officers responded to the area of Ute Highway and Erfert Street on a report of a welfare check.

May 31, 2019 SHOPLIFT An employee of a Longmont business reported a shoplift in the 1000 blk of Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is open. LOST PROPERTY A Longmont resident reported theft in the 2400 block of Calais Drive.

On June 4, 2019, Longmont City Council will host an open forum. This is an opportunity for Longmont residents to speak before council about their concerns and have council reply.

Parks, Open Space, and Trails hosts this annual volunteer event to honor Ann Henson. Ann was an explorer, a giver, a teacher, and an important figure in our Front Range botanical community.

Library Party to Commemorate Game of Thrones TV Series Popular HBO series completed eight year run

Recovery Cafe, a start-up non-profit serving people recovering from addiction or mental health issues, opened May 29th in the basement of Central Longmont Presbyterian Church at 402 Kimbark St. in Longmont.

Volunteer on Saturday, June 15 and Wednesday, Aug. 7 for the City of Longmont’s beaver tree painting events! These will be fun, family-friendly events for those ages eight and up.

During the May 28, 2019 Longmont City Council, Council member Tim Waters suggested that the Ordinance 2019-01 concerning the methods of removing prairie dogs be brought back to council on a future agenda.

Free summer meals will be provided in Longmont Monday through Thursday from June 3 – July 25.
