Boulder County Transportation is currently working on a Floodplain Management and Transportation System Resiliency Study and Action Plan (RSAP) to learn from the county’s experiences recovering from the 2013 Flood, and to examine what can be done to better prepare waterways and transportation systems for future natural or economic disasters.

Today marks the 29th day of the Federal Government Shutdown. On Jan. 18, I spoke with Jillian Baldwin, executive director at Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) about how the shutdown is affecting our most housing insecure residents.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 1200 block of Main Street. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

FRAUD A Longmont business in the 1000 block of Alta Vita Court reported an incident of forgery. The case status is open and has been forwarded for further investigation.

The Longmont City Council meets almost every other Friday morning from 8:30 am to 10 am in a more informal environment to talk about meetings they've been in, liaison positions they hold with boards and commissions and general city business.
