Accident detours traffic on northbound Colo. 119

As of 12 p.m. today, northbound Colo. 119 is being rerouted at Airport Road due to a traffic accident. Northbound traffic is being diverted west at Airport Road and north at Ogalalla Road toward 95th Street. 

Update: 1:14 p.m.: According to Colorado State Patrol Master Trooper Gary Cutler, the incident this morning involved a collision between a cyclist and a motor vehicle. The cyclist died on the scene and the driver remained on scene until emergency responders arrived. Colo. 119 is still being detoured at Airport Road.

Update: at 1:38 p.m. RTD has released an update that the Northbound detour for the BOLT regional bus line has ended, indicating that Colo. 119's northbound traffic has resumed as normal.
