Breaking News: Traffic accident closes off 9th Avenue and Pace Street

Update: Per Longmont Public Safety's social media, the intersection at Ninth Avenue and Pace Street will be closed until at least 7 p.m. today.

Longmont Public Safety has responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of 9th Avenue and Pace Street. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. today and few details are available at this time, according to Longmont Public Safety’s Public Information Officer Robin Ericson. 

The intersection will be closed until at least 3 p.m. today and Longmont Public Safety advises residents to plan for an alternate route or expect detours in the vicinity.
