City of Longmont's Total Sales and Use Tax for May 2017

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and uses tax division analysis of taxes for the month of May 2017. Total sales and Use Tax for the month of May 2017 saw a increase of 14.3% compared to last year.

The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and uses tax division analysis of taxes for the month of May 2017.

Total sales and Use Tax for the month of May 2017 saw a increase of 14.3% compared to last year. Current Sales Tax collection increased by 12.3% and current Use Tax collection decreased 30.5%.



So far, 2017 has seen Total Sales and Use Tax through May increase by 22.1%. The Sales Tax component increased by 15.5% and the Use Tax component increased by 54.8%.
