Community Foundation Boulder County holding virtual community meet-and-greets

Each meet-n-greet will host 10 guests and be conducted on Zoom.

Tatiana Hernandez, the new CEO of the Community Foundation Boulder County, next week will begin holding virtual meet-and-greets with the community.

Hernandez took the helm of the Community Foundation on July 6.  

Planned sessions for the Longmont community will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. Sept. 11 and 2 p.m. Sept. 14. Countywide sessions will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 17, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21, 10 a.m Sept. 22, 2 p..m Sept. 28, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 10 a.m. Sept. 30.

Each meet-n-greet will host 10 guests and be conducted on Zoom; Zoom information will be sent one day before the meet-n-greet for which attendees are registered. For more information and to register, click here.

Hernandez succeeded Jeff Hirota, who retired June 30 after 3 ½ years with the foundation, according to a blog post at commfound.org. Prior to joining the foundation, she most recently served as president of the Emily Griffith Foundation, where she was responsible for raising funds to support the students and programs of Emily Griffith Technical College, according to the blog post. Her other past experience includes senior program officer at the Kresge Foundation; and arts director for the Hemera Foundation where — in partnership with the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation and Colorado Creative Industries — she developed Arts in Society, Colorado’s largest private-public funding program for the arts, according to the post.
