Efforts continue in search of missing man in Rocky Mtn. National Park

Search efforts were launched on Monday.

Lucas Macaj, 23, from Colorado Springs was reported missing on Sunday. He texted a friend Sunday to report that he was climbing Longs Peak via the Keyhole Route. Storms moved in during the afternoon and Macaj was reported overdue on Sunday night.

Macaj is reported to likely be wearing a dark colored top, tan or brown pants, khaki-colored boots and a black backpack. He may also be wearing a beanie and dark colored gloves. He is described as 5'9" and 155 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Search efforts were launched on Monday. The efforts include air reconnaissance, heat sensing fixed-wing flight and ground teams on the trail.
