Traffic tickets acquired in Weld County can now be paid in a new office in Greeley.

The Records Unit shared record management duties with the Greeley Police Department for the better part of 30 years. On Jan. 1 the unit found its new home at the Weld County Sheriff's Office, located at 1551 N. 17th Ave. #3 in Greeley.

The Records Unit began accepting payment for county-issued traffic tickets in late July, according to the Weld County Sheriff's Office.

Prior to the move, tickets were accepted at the county administrative office at 1950 O St., but the process has been redirected to the new facility.

Weld County traffic tickets can also be paid at one of the two substations located at 1950 Ninth St in Fort Lupton or 4209 Weld County Road 24 1/2 in Longmont.

For more information about a tickets or abandoned vehicles, visit the Records Unit in person, call (970) 400-2770 or go online to www.weldsheriff.com/Divisions/Administration/Records-Unit.
