Longmont, CO: After an extensive search, the Longmont Economic Development Partnership (EDP) is excited to announce today that Kurt Harris has been named Investor & Community Relations Manager at Longmont EDP. His first day on the job will be August 1, 2017.
Mr. Harris is in the process of relocating to Longmont from Concord, California, where he currently serves as Director of Development for Mobility Matters, a 501c(3) non-profit organization focused on connecting citizens with public transportation options to improve mobility for the residents of Contra Costa County. He continued, “Longmont is an up and coming community and I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with economic development here, and all of the work Longmont EDP does on behalf of the community. I most look forward to supporting the organization’s efforts to bring higher wage, and skilled career opportunities to Longmont.”
“Kurt is coming to us with an incredible background in all of the experience and expertise you hope to find in a person charged with leading the fundraising efforts of a non-profit economic development organization,” noted Longmont EDP President Jessica Erickson. “I was incredibly impressed with his poise and professionalism throughout the interview process, and I could not be more thrilled to have him join the Longmont EDP team.”
