The Longmont Public Library is proud to host New York Times bestselling and award-winning young adult author Stacey H. Lee for a special Q&A session, book signing, and writer’s workshop for teens.
Teen Writer’s Workshop
Stacey H. Lee joins us for a free writing workshop exclusive to 6th-12th graders! Learn about writing, publishing, and the life of being a renowned author from one of the brightest stars in the young adult publishing world. This is open to teen writers (6th through 12th graders), readers, and literary enthusiasts of all experience levels. Registration is required to attend at bit.ly/LibTeenEvents and is limited to 30 teens.
Q&A Session: Stacey H. Lee in Conversation with Librarian Claire
Stacey H. Lee will be in conversation with Longmont Children and Teens Librarian Claire and will discuss her historical fiction works that offer us insight into Chinese-American perspectives on Tuesday, April 4, from 7-8 pm inside the Longmont Library Meeting Rooms, 409 Fourth Ave.
Stacey will be available after the Q&A to sign her books, copies of which can be purchased at the event through The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop, a local indie bookstore.
There is no charge for this program; however, registration is required at bit.ly/LibPrograms and limited to 100 participants.
About the Author
Stacey Lee is the New York Times and Indie bestselling author of historical and contemporary young adult fiction, including The Downstairs Girl, a Reese’s Book Club Late Summer 2021 YA pick, and her most recent novel, Luck of the Titanic, which received five starred reviews. Stacey grew up in southern California and is a fourth-generation Chinese American. She is a founder of the We Need Diverse Books movement and writes stories for all kids (even the ones who look like adults).
