TLC Announces Stacy Cornay as Director of Donor and Community Engagement

Longmont, CO - - - Matt Eldred, CEO of the TLC Learning Center in Longmont, announced on June 11 that longtime community businesswoman and community advocate, Stacy Cornay, will be joining the TLC team as the Director of Donor and Community Engagement. “We are thrilled to have someone with Stacy’s background with the organization, and our community, officially join our team. Her knowledge of the TLC community, combined with her expertise in donor relations, community relations and advocacy provide the perfect foundation to grow this area of our organization,” Eldred said.

Cornay, who has been managing the TLC Capital Campaign for the past 12 months, is the owner of Communication Concepts. She founded the public relations firm 30 years ago in Boulder County. She’s worked with hundreds of clients focusing primarily on engagement and community building efforts. Her key areas of focus include non-profits, B2B, advocacy and education.

She’s served on numerous Board of Directors including the following: TLC Learning Center, Longmont Community Foundation, Boulder County Business Hall of Fame, Longs Peak Hospital Foundation, Longmont Economic Development Partnership, Via, Twin Peaks Rotary and the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce. Among her many awards received she is most proud to be a recipient of the Carl J. Turner Citizen of the Year Award.

“I couldn’t be more delighted to join TLC’s team. I’ve known TLC, formerly Tiny Tim, for over 30 years. I’ve been a volunteer, a board member, board chair twice and even worked there for a few months one summer while the Board conducted a search for a new Executive Director. Working on the current capital campaign has been extremely rewarding. I am honored to accept this opportunity to assist the organization moving forward,” said Cornay.

“Stacy has a deep knowledge of Longmont, Boulder County, and beyond. She is an experienced communicator and will help TLC grow with our fundraising, donor development, and advocacy efforts. There is no one better to be leading and organizing TLC Learning Center’s major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, and special donor events,” said Eldred.
