4/3/2020 200002728 DRUG VIOLATION 9202 On 04/03/2020 Longmont police contacted a vehicle in the area of Purdue Dr. and Ash Ct., in reference to a noise complaint. Two adult males were contacted in the vehicle, and found to be in possession of alcohol while underage, as well as open containers of alcohol. A search of the vehicle also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of narcotics.

Through the investigation it was learned that an adult male had tried to take the vehicle of an adult female. It was determined probable cause existed to issue a warrant for the arrest of the adult male.

4/1/2020 200002701 DISTURBANCE 1410 On 04/01/2020 Longmont Police responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Main St. A male was reportedly throwing beer bottles and trash at people. Previously the same male had been called into dispatch a short time prior for reports of threatening others with a screwdriver in the same area. The male was contacted again by Officers and placed into protective custody for apparent mental health issues. The male was transported to a nearby hospital and placed on a mental health hold.
