Longmont Police Report: Dec. 9. 2019

THEFT

On Monday, December 09, 2019, at about 1148 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a theft of license plates from a vehicle at the 1000 block of Lee Way.

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1000 block of South Hover Street. This case is open.

On Monday, December 09, 2019, at about 1525 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a theft report of an employee's brush bag with vehicle key inside at the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd.

LOST PROPERTY

An employee of a Longmont business reported lost property in th 1400 block of Nelson Road. Courtesy report taken.

AUTO THEFT

On Monday, December 9th, 2019, Longmont Officers took an auto theft report from the 2900 block of Bellmeade Wy. Case closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/9/19 Longmont Police responded to a report of a cold sex assault, 1200 block Grandview Meadows Dr. This case is currently under investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/08/2019 Longmont Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Dry Creek Dr to a call from an employee advising a female guest of his was being beat up by her boyfriend. After conducting an investigation an adult male was taken into custody. He was taken to the Boulder County Jail.

WELFARE CHECK

On 12/8/19, officers contacted an adult male in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd regarding a welfare check. The male was later transported to a medical facility for a Mental Health Hold.

DISTURBANCE

On 120919 the Longmont Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of East 6th Avenue. An adult female tried to take a phone from her adult son when he was recording her behavior while intoxicated. The adult male victim declined to have charges filed.

AUTO THEFT

On Monday December 9, 2019 at approximately 0054 hours, Longmont Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 9700 block of Ute Highway. The vehicle was an unreported stolen vehicle out of the City of Longmont. The Juvenile Female driver was arrested on Auto theft charges. Case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On 120919 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 100 block of East 6th Avenue on a disturbance. An adult female assaulted her adult female sibling. The female assailant was taken into protective custody, issued a summons for the assault, and transported to a detox facility. Cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 12-9-2019 a Longmont resident reported the rear window of her vehicle had been shattered. The vehicle was parked in the 1700 block of Lashley St. There are no suspects, the case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass in the 1200 block of Trout Creek Circle. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

WARRANT ARREST

On December 9, 2019, at approximately 0929 hrs Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Peak Ave.

THEFT

On December 9, 2019, Longmont Police responded to the 2300 block of 17th Ave on the report of a theft and hit and run. Suspects were identified and arrested by another agency. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On December 9th, 2019 at approximately 1440 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to a burglary that occured in the 2300 block of Main St. Longmont, CO.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief and theft in the 300 block of 15th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspects at this time.
