FRAUD

Information was received by a financial institution as a mandatory reporter of suspected financial elder abuse regarding a Longmont resident. An informational report was completed.

AUTO THEFT

A Westminster resident reported his vehicle was stolen from the 1300 block of Sherman Drive in Longmont. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/26/19, officers responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark Street on an attempt to locate. An adult male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. This case was cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, 2/27/19, at approximately 0845 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of Bent Way and Hover Street regarding an assault in progress. Officers arrived on scene and learned this was a domestic violence incident. An adult male suspect had fled in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Officers contacted an adult female victim who was involved. Officers were later able to capture the suspect. This case is cleared by arrest.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 2/27/19, Longmont police were informed by Littleton Police of an investigation into a possible sexual assault on a child which may have occurred in Longmont. The investigation is ongoing.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 2/27/19, at approximately 1400 hours, officers responded to the lobby of 225 Kimbark Street in reference to a protection order violation. This case is exceptionally cleared.

SHOPLIFT

On 2/27/19 at approximately 2000 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Hover Street in reference to a shoplift that just occured. This case was cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, February 27, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of Kimbark in response for a warrant arrest. This case was cleared by arrest.

MISSING PERSON

On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 00 block of Forsyth Drive in response to a missing person. An investigation took place and this case is closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On February 27, 2019 at approximately 2110 hours, Longmont officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief in the 300 block of Main Street. An adult male was contacted and issued a summons. This case was cleared by summons.

DUI

On February 26, 2019, Longmont police investigated a DUI in the area of 19th Avenue and Main Street. One adult male was arrested for driving under the influence and was released on a summons.

DUI

On Wednesday, 2/27/19 at approximately 0147 hours, Longmont police contacted a reckless driver in the area of Longs Peak Avenue and Main Street.An adult male was arrested for DUI and traffic offenses. This case was cleared by arrest.

MEDICAL LONGMONT PD LAW

On 2/27/19, officers responded to the 1800 block of Rice Street on a cat bite. The cat was quarantined at its home. The victim is the owner. This case was referred to Animal Control for follow-up.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, Longmont police investigated a criminal mischief in the 700 block of Bross Street. This case is closed.

FRAUD

A bank reported possible fraud in the 1700 block of Montgomery Circle. This case was cleared - unfounded.

THEFT

An employee of a Denver company reported theft from the 5000 block of Maxwell. This case was closed due to a lack of suspect information.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, Longmont police officers assisted with a criminal mischief investigation located at the 800 Block of Meeker Street. This case is still open pending further investigation.

SEX ASSAULT

The Longmont Police Department investigated a sexual assault on a child investigation that occurred in northwest Longmont. This case is open and referred to detectives for follow-up.

BURGLARY

On 2/27/19, officers investigated a burglary in the 0 hundred block of Main Street. After an investigation, the male who entered the residence had the right to be inside. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at approximately 1929 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1400 block Collyer Street in reference to a wanted party. An adult male was contacted and arrested. This case was cleared by arrest.
