FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On July 8, 2018 Officers were dispatched to a criminal trespass in the 2100 block of Astoria Lane. A report was taken and the case is closed due to insufficient suspect leads. Case closed.
INFORMATION
On July 8, 2018 Officers responded to the Lobby of the Longmont Police Department in reference to an assist. A 58 year old male requested an informational report be documented. Case closed.
VICIOUS DOG
A juvenile was bitten by a dog in Longmont. The dog was quarantined at home.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 07/08/2018, Longmont Police responded to the 600 block of Collyer St. referencing a suspicious situation. Police investigated the matter, and one subject was arrested without incident for violating a protection order. The case is cleared by arrest.
TRESPASS
On June 17, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the area of 1200 S Hover St and contacted a male in regards to a trespassing. The male was determined to not be trespassing at the time and officers left the area taking no enforcement action.
BURGLARY
On July 6, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the 1800 block of Stroh Place to take a report of theft from at at risk elder. This case is closed with no suspects, evidence, or investigative leads.
SHOPLIFT
On 07/07/2018 officers investigated a theft in the 700 block of the Ave. After investigation the suspect was found and restitution was made. Case is exceptionally cleared.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Saturday, 07/07/18 at approximately 2159 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of the 900 block of Emery St in reference to a hit and run property damage accident. The unoccupied suspect vehicle was located nearby and a driver was identified through the investigation. Case cleared by arrest; summons issued.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT
On 07/07/2018 officers investigated a traffic complaint in the 1800 block of 11th Ave. Three juvenile males were seen driving a go cart in the area. After investigation two juvenile males were issued summons' and one was taken to juvenile detention. Case is cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Saturday, July 7, 2018 at about 2256 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of Martin Road and Empire Place on a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival officers arrested an adult male on 4 active arrest warrants. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Sunday, 07/08/18 at approximately 0110 hours, Longmont Police contacted an adult female party near 8th Ave and Pratt St. The female was arrested for an active felony warrant and she was later transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.
DISTURBANCE
On July 8th, 2018, Officers responded to the 1600 BLK of Hover Street on report of a disturbance. One adult female was contacted and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. Case cleared by arrest.
DUI
On Sunday, July 08, 2018, at approximately 0139 hours, officers were dispatched to a suspicious situation involving a property damage accident near the intersection of 12th Ave., and Francis St. One adult male was arrested for driving under the influence.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A woman was bitten by a stray cat in the 700 block of Emery Street. A trap was placed out for the cat.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On July 8th, 2018 Longmont Police were called to a domestic in progress. Upon further investigation case is closed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Sunday 07/08/18, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd reference a criminal mischief. A business had its front window broken. There are no suspects and the case is closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On July 8, 2018, Longmont Police Officers were patrolling in the 2600 block of 3rd Avenue Place. A adult female was contacted in the area and it was later determined that she had an active warrant for her arrest. The female was taken into custody without incident. Case closed by arrest.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Sunday 07/08/18, Longmont Police responded to the 3800 block of Pike Rd reference a domestic violence incident between an adult male and an adult female. A report was taken and the case is closed.
DRUG VIOLATION
On Sunday July 8th, 2018 Longmont Officers were called to 10th Ave and Kimbark on a Narcotics violation. Upon further investigation one adult male was taken into custody for a municipal warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
TRESPASS
On July 8, 2018, Longmont Police Officers were in the area of 300 Ken Pratt Blvd doing extra patrols. A adult male and an adult female were contacted in the area illegally camping on the Greenway. Both parties were issued Summons. Case cleared by arrest/summons.
TRAFFIC STOP
On July 8, 2018 Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mountain View Ave and Bowen Street on a suspected DUI. An adult female was referred to the LEAD program in lieu of arrest. This case is closed.
VICIOUS DOG
A Longmont juvenile was bitten by a dog at a park.
DISTURBANCE
On July 8, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Kimbark reference a cold disturbance. It was reported that a adult male and an adult female had gotten into an altercation in the 300 block of Barnard Ct. It was later determined that a predominate aggressor could not be determined. Case closed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Sunday, 07-08-2018, Police were dispatched to the area of Sanborne Drive and Mountain View Avenue on a criminal mischief. Police contacted a juvenile female who confessed to the criminal mischief. Case is open as charges are pending.
AUTO THEFT
On Sunday, 07/08/2018, Police were dispatched to take a report on a stolen motorcycle from the 1200 block of Francis Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Police investigated and documented their findings. Case is open.
DEATH
On Sunday, July 8, 2018 Longmont Police Officers responded to the 000 block of 21st Avenue in reference to an unconscious 93 year old female. The coroner responded and conducted an investigation. It appears to have been natural causes. The case is closed.
