As part of its Music to Lift Our Spirits initiative, the Longmont Symphony Orchestra has posted a YouTube video of its cellists performing an arrangement for five cellos by Gwyn Seymour of the first movement, "Basse Danse," of Peter Warlcok’s "Capriol Suite."

“Popular in the 15th and 16th centuries, a ‘Basse Danse’ was a popular court dance, especially in Burgundy. To contrast the ‘leaping’ dances of the time this low dance (Basse Danse) was of a moderate tempo with small steps,” the orchestra stated in an email.
