Join us for this National Trails Day event at Button Rock Preserve! In the past few years, visitation at Button Rock Preserve has skyrocketed. We will be working along the Hummingbird Trail building steps, working on the switchbacks and closing up social trails. The trail is short but steep. We will drive up to the reservoir, and from there carpool in to the base of the dam. Please be prepared to dig, scrape, move rocks and have a ton of fun! No experience necessary -- experienced trail crew leads will help provide direction. At the end of the project we will have local live music, refreshments and snacks for this celebratory day!
You will receive project details 3-5 days prior to the project, but if you have any questions in the mean time, please feel free to reach out!
We are counting on you! We are excited to have you join us, but if you must cancel it is very important that you do so with as much notice as possible, thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: If this project needs to be rescheduled due to inclement weather the new date will be Saturday, June 17th!
