OBITUARY: Tracy Lyn Cravens
March 27, 1966 – January 15, 2020

Tracy Lyn (Hagemann) Cravens, 53, passed away at her Longmont home on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. She was born March 27th, 1966, to Douglas and Lois (Gratopp) Hagemann in Julesburg, Colorado. She attended Julesburg Elementary and graduated from Julesburg High School in 1984. She earned a journalism degree from Midland Lutheran in Fremont, Nebraska. After graduation she worked at the newspaper in Lusk, Wyoming then relocated to Colorado in 1990. She was employed at various Longmont businesses including Times-Call Newspaper, Emco Corp., Fibrotek, Dairy Queen, Hallmark, and finally as an Administrative Assistant with Edward Jones Investments. On June 9th, 2001 Tracy and Chris were married at LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont. Survivors include her devoted husband, Christopher Cravens; her parents; sisters Sandy (John) Fryar, Deann (Richard) Anderson, Korie Williams; nephews and nieces Aaron Fryar, Stacey Fryar, Amy Fryar, John (Britney Woodward) Fryar, Zachary (Vanessa) Anderson, Faith (Corey) Huston; and numerous grandnephews and grandnieces.

She kept very busy with her hobbies and interests. As a long-time board member with the Longmont Theater Company she filled the roles of marketing coordinator, producer, board member and coordinated many special projects and fundraisers. She worked with the Longmont Chamber of Commerce as a result of her Theater Board responsibilities. She has a knack for networking and was very involved in the Longmont LEAD group. Having played volleyball since high school, she actively played in both a recreational women’s and co-ed league. She was an active member of White Fields Community Church serving as a Sunday school teacher, usher, Easter outreach volunteer and coordinated mission fundraising. In the last few years Tracy was involved with the regional Edward Jones Alzheimer walks. Her hobbies were gift giving, designing jewelry and crafting custom greeting cards. Annual Canadian fishing trips with Chris inspired her love of fishing and together they were movie enthusiasts. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ along with spending time with family were her top priorities.

The Celebration of Life for Tracy Cravens will be Thursday, January 23rd, 10am at Lifebridge Church in Longmont with a reception to follow.
