Disturbance
On Monday, July 17, 2017, officers responded to a family disturbance in the 1100 block of Louisiana Place. A 69 year old grandmother was cited for child abuse after striking her 14 year old grand-daughter resulting in injury. The case is cleared by arrest (summons).
Animal Complaint
A woman was bitten by her own cat when it was startled by a gate falling in the house. The cat is current on its vaccinations and will be quarantined at home.

On Monday, July 17, 2017, at 11:20pm, Longmont Police took an informational report in the 500 block of Collyer Street, Longmont.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, a landlord who owns property in the 2000 block of Meadow Dr reported damage. This report if for information purposes only at this time.
Criminal Mischief
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017 a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 1700 block of Duchess Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
Sex Assault
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017 Officers with the Longmont Police Department took a report of a cold assault that took place around the 1000 Block of Lashley Street. The investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, Longmont police received a report of an alleged sexual assault, which had occurred in Longmont, CO. in October of 2016. An adult female stated she had been sexually assaulted by her ex-husband. This case is under investigation.
Vicious Dog
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 800 block of Francis St. on report of a dog bite. Dog was taken to quarantine. This case is open pending investigation.
Harassment
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 10:25pm, Longmont Police investigated a harassment in the 700 block of Fairlane Avenue, Longmont. The case was left open and forwarded to the Detective Division for a follow-up investigation.
On Monday, July 17, 2017, a 10 year old resident of the 800 block of Grandview Meadows Dr reported a 14 year old teen threatened to fight him, and harassed a 9 year old girl. The family elected to have the matter handled by their management company. The parents elected to file a report only and not pursue a criminal charge. The matter is exceptionally cleared.
Auto Theft
On Monday, July 17, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a stolen trailer. No suspect leads at this time. Case closed.
Warrant Arrest
On Monday, July 17, 2017 Longmont Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Kimbark street in response to information on the whereabouts of a white adult male with an active court warrant. The male was contacted and subsequently taken into custody and later transported to Boulder County Jail.
Theft
On July 17, 2017, officers took a phone call regarding a package being opened and items removed from the front porch of a residence in the 800 block of Summer Hawk Dr. There are no suspects. This case is closed.
On July 17, 2017, at approximately 11:55pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 300 block of National Pl. Longmont, CO, in reference to a suspicious incident. This case is closed.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 3700 block of Yale Way. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, Officers from the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft that occurred in the 300 block of Main Street. The case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.
Domestic Incident
On Monday, July 17, 2017, officers took a report regarding a possible Domestic Violence incident. Upon review of the information provided, it was determined no crime had been committed. This case is closed.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident in the 00 hundred block of 5th avenue where two adults were actively engaged in a verbal argument. There was no probable cause that a crime had been committed, therefore no arrests were made.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 700 block of Rees Court in reference to a report of a domestic incident. The case will be forwarded to the Detectives Division for follow up.
FDC/Crime Trespass
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, Officers responded to 2300 block of Whistler Drive in reference to a criminal trespass report. Resident reported two vehicles were broken into and items were missing from one of the vehicles. No suspect information. Case closed.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 1900 block of Mt. Sneffels St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
Assault
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017 Officers responded to the 1900 block of Longs Peak Avenue reference a disturbance. A 16 year old male was issued a summons for assault. Case closed.
Welfare Check
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department took reports of at risk neglect. An investigation was conducted. Case closed.
Property Damage Accident
On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, officers responded to a non-injury accident at Hover Street and Nelson Road involving three vehicles. An adult male was issued a summons and a report was completed to document that one vehicle involved in the accident left the scene before police arrived. The case is closed.
