Shots Heard
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the area of 2200 block of E Ken Pratt BLVD on a report of shots fired and later determined to be a homicide. One adult male was taken to the hospital and was confirmed deceased. An adult male suspect fled the scene. This case is under investigation.
Theft
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Longmont Police took a theft report from a white adult transient male who reportedly had his personal identification items stolen. No suspects identified, case is closed.
Auto Theft
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at about 9 am, Longmont Police Department Officers responded to the 700 Block of Collyer Street for the report of a motor vehicle theft. There are no suspects or leads at this time. Case closed.
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, at approximately 7:06 pm, the Longmont Police Department received a report of an auto theft that occurred in the 800 block of Crisman Dr. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect leads.
Vicious Dog
A Longmont male was bitten by a dog while trying to separate dogs in a dog fight. The bite dog was quarantined at home.
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Officers responded to 1300 Block of S. Sherman Street for an attempt to locate. Suspect had a warrants out of Boulder County and Larimer County. Subject was arrested and taken to Boulder County. Case closed.
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Denver Ave on a report of a welfare check. Upon arriving, police located a known wanted party. After a brief standoff, the suspect was taken into custody with out incident. Case cleared by arrest.
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, the Longmont Police Department contacted a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Main St. An adult male inside was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, the Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male on an outstanding warrant in the 400 block of Quail Rd. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
DUI
On Friday, 07/21/17 at approximately 10:47pm, Longmont Police Dispatch was notified of a hit and run crash that had just occurred in the 200 block of Main St. The run vehicle was located nearby and an adult female was arrested for DUI and related charges.
Burglary
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, at approximately 10:07 pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Lefthand Dr in reference to a reported burglary. A report was taken and the case is closed.
Traffic Stop
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 12:25am, an officer spotted a truck reported stolen from Ft.Collins behind a business in the 1200 block of s Hover Road. An adult female was found inside the vehicle and was arrested. Cleared by arrest.
Medical Longmont PD Law
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Hover St on a potential narcotic overdose. An adult male was given Narcan and then transported to Longmont United Hospital. This report is for informational purposes only.
Shoplift
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, at approximately 2pm Police were dispatched to a shoplifting in the 2200 block of Main St. The case is currently open.
