AUTO THEFT
On Friday, July 28th, 2017, at approximately 1730 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to contact a party by phone reference a possible auto theft. Police contacted an adult male. The case is closed. 937 submitted.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, Officers responded to the 500 block of Kimbark St. reference a hit and run involving a stolen vehicle. The case is open.
WARRANT ARREST
On July 25, 2017 the Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male on an outstanding warrant in the 400 block of S. Pratt Pkwy. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
THEFT
On Thursday, July 27, 2017, Longmont Police took a report of theft in the 1600 block of Gay St. No additional suspect leads at this time. Case closed.
SEX ASSAULT
On 07/28/17 at 2014 hrs. Longmont Police Officer responded to the 300 block of Emery St. on a welfare check. The case has been referred to detectives.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
On Thursday, 07/27/17, animal control was notified about a possible violation of the prohibited animals ordinance.
THEFT
An employee with the Boulder County District Attorney's Office reported an elderly Longmont resident in the 1600 block of 16th Place fell victim to an online scam. A report was completed for informational purposes only, and was forwarded to Adult Protective Services for additional follow- up.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 27,2017, officers responded to the 2100 block of Sherri Mar St. on a report of a protection order violation. One adult male was found to be in violation of a protection order. The male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 27, 2017 the Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male in the 1200 block of S. Hover St. An adult male was arrested and charged with Violation of Bond condition and Violation of a Protection Order. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.
WELFARE CHECK
On 07/27/2017, Longmont officers were dispatched to respond to the 500 blk of Collyer St. reference a welfare check. Case is closed.
CHILD
On July 28th 2017, officers responded to Children's Hospital in Aurora Colorado on report of a possible child abuse case that occurred in Longmont, Boulder County Colorado. A two-year-old male was admitted for a broken femur. A report was taken and this case is open.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
A Longmont resident in the 1100 block of Aspen Street reported an unknown person illegally entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet and its contents. Some items that had been in the wallet were later located in the parking lot of Longmont United Hospital, 1950 Mountain View Avenue. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
HARASSMENT
On Friday, July 28, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of harassment in the 600 block of Peck Dr. No suspects at this time. Case closed.
VICIOUS DOG
On Friday, 07/28/17, a woman was bitten by a dog in the 1500 block of Sherri Mar. The dog has been quarantined and the owner will be issued a summons.
FRAUD
On Friday, July 28, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of fraud by check in the 100 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. An adult male is suspect, case still under investigation. Case closed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Friday, July 28, 2017 officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Bowen Street for a disturbance. An adult male was issued a summons for vandalism. Case cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 27, 2017 the Longmont Police Department was contacted regarding a Violation of a Protection order that occurred on July 26, 2017. This case is open pending further investigation. HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On 07/28/2017 the Longmont Police Department took a report of a hit and run in the area of S. Main St. and Quail Rd. An adult male reported he was hit by a semi truck while crossing S. Main St. in the crosswalk. The male reported minor injuries. The semi truck and victim male left the scene of the accident. The male later reported the incident. This report is under investigation.
WARRANT ARREST
On 07/28/2017 Longmont Police responded to the area of Kimbark Street and Longs Peak Ave. to the report of a possible narcotics complaint. An adult male was questioned regarding his involvement and was later arrested for an outstanding warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 28, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 10 block of 9th Ave on the report of a suspicious situation. An adult male was contacted and taken into custody for violation of protection order. This case is cleared by arrest.
WARRANT ARREST
On Friday 07/28/17 at approximately 1804 hours, Longmont Police added charges to a 21 year-old-male who was already in custody. This case is cleared by arrest.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On 07282017 Longmont PD was dispatched to the 700 block of Longs Peak on a report of a cold assault. Case is open pending an arrest for Domestic Violence Assault.
WARRANT ARREST
On 07282017 Longmont PD responded to the 300 block of S. Francis st on a welfare check. One adult male was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and transported to BCJ.
