Theft

A Thornton, CO resident reported his box trailer was stolen from a construction site located near Sundance Drive and Ute Hwy Drive in Longmont, CO. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a stolen license plate. Reporting party believes the plate was stolen from the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd.

Fraud

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 300 block of Martin Street reported an incident of employee theft and fraud. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

The Longmont Police Department investigated a theft which occurred in northwest Longmont. Case is referred to the Boulder County District Attorney's Office.

Death

Longmont Police responded to the 1200 block of Baker Street on an apparent death investigation. The case has been referred to the Boulder County Coroner's Office.

Welfare Check

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at approximately 4:19pm, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Frontier Street to check the welfare of a disabled adult who was located by the property manager, locked in a small room under the staircase in the basement of the residence. The female was transported to Longmont United Hospital for observation. The case is open and being investigated by detectives.

Shooting

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at approximately 8:30pm, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 900 block of Pratt St. in response to a possible shooting. This case is open.

Traffic Stop

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, officers contacted a vehicle displaying fictitious plates in the 1900 block of Terry St. An adult female was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Case is cleared by arrest.

Warrant Arrest

On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at approximately 6am, the Longmont Police Department conducted a warrant arrest in the 300 block of Main St. Case cleared by arrest.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 8:04pm, Longmont Police arrested a 20-year-old female in the Longmont Police Department for an outstanding arrest warrant. The female was arrested and released on bond. This case is cleared by arrest.

Vicious Dog

On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 11pm, a woman's dog was attacked by another dog that came out of a house in the 1200 block of Fordham. The dog is being treated for its injuries. A summons was issued to the owner for aggressive animal and restraint and control.

Shoplift

On Wednesday, June 27, 2017, at approximately 7:53pm, Longmont Police responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St, in the city of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado, for a juvenile shoplifter. This case is cleared exceptionally.

Animal Complaint

On Monday, 06/26/17, a man was bitten by his own cat when it got outside and he went to grab him. He was treated at LUH for the bite. The cat will be quarantined at its home.

Harassment

On June 27, 2017 at approximately 9:09pm officers were dispatched to return a phone call regarding a possible harassment issue. Case cleared no charges filed.

Criminal Mischief

On June 28, 2017 at approximately 8:00 am Longmont Police investigated the report of broken windows at a local business. There are no workable leads or suspect information. The case was closed.

A Longmont resident in the 2200 block of Dexter Drive reported an unknown person threw a rock at her apartment window, breaking it. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Follow Up

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

Attempt to Locate

On Wednesday June 28, 2017 at approximately 1:19pm officers were dispatched to the 1000 block reference an adult male in violation of his probation. The male was arrest without incident.

Child

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at about 8:15pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 21st Avenue on a report of a runaway female juvenile. When officers were still on scene the juvenile returned home.
