The Regional Transportation District on Monday afternoon announced that four stops on Pike Road will be closed through Aug. 12 because of construction. The northbound stops all are on route 324, which travels east on Pike from Grandview Meadows Drive and Nelson Road before turning south on Main Street and traveling to Park Ridge Avenue and Main, according to the route on RTD’s website.

The four closed stops are on Pike Road at:

  • South Sunset Street (No. 25621)

  • Ridgeview Drive (No. 25622)

  • Kristy Court (No. 25623)

  • South Main Street (No. 25624)

RTD last month also announced the closure of six stops along Main Street through Oct. 3 in conjunction with the city closing a lane of Main in either direction between Third and Sixth avenues to allow downtown businesses to use the lanes and adjacent parking for expanded outdoor dining and sales space. The closures impact the BOLT, LD1, LD3 and 324 routes.

Those closed stops and alternatives, according to RTD, are:

Northbound

Main at Third, (No. 15150), Fourth (No. 15152), Fifth (No. 15154), Sixth (No. 17551) and Eighth (No. 15158) avenues. Riders can board at stops on Kimbark Avenue.

Southbound

Main at Sixth Avenue (No. 17509). Riders can board at a temporary stop on Coffman Street between Sixth and Fifth avenues
