St. Vrain Valley School Board Approves $194,734 on Epson Projectors and Wall Mounts

On Wednesday night, the St. Vrain Valley School Board approved spending $197,734 on Epson projectors and wall mounts for district classrooms.

According to the memorandum presented to the school board, "Epson projectors are used as part of the standard presentation system throughout the District. Two hundred seventy nine (279) projectors and various mounts will be purchased to replace aging projectors in existing schools and provide projectors for schools with new additions. The funding for this is from bond and mill levy dollars dedicated to technology."

On February 9, 2018, a bid, No. 2018-041, was issued by the purchasing department. The district received six responses and awarded the bid to CCS Presentation Systems, Inc. for having the lowest response. The bids were as follows:

  • SDF Professional Computers, Inc.--$228,340
  • Howard Technology Solutions--$245,775
