Those looking to take a weekday swim at Union Reservoir will have to do so today or tomorrow before postseason hours go into effect on Monday.

Longmont, in a Wednesday news release, announced that starting Monday the swim beach will only be open weekends and Labor Day. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Swim beach capacity will remain capped at 75 people. Once the 75-person capacity has been reached, no other swimmers will be allowed on the beach until someone leaves.

Access to Union Reservoir for other activities, including the dog beach, hiking, fishing and non-motorized boating activities, remains open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through Labor Day.
