The city of Longmont will be closing roads throughout Longmont for tree trimming.
Today the following will be closed:
- Gay Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 828 Fifth Ave. from noon to 4 p.m.
The city of Longmont maintains 21,000 trees across town, according to the website. Here is a map that shows the trees the city maintains.
