Parents, students and school staff are scratching their heads about what the upcoming school year will look like.

Superintendent of St. Vrain Valley Schools Don Haddad will join Longmont Leader Editor Macie May for a live, virtual conversation to answer some of the pressing questions.

You can email us your questions ahead of time, or watch live and contribute to the conversation then. Email your questions to [email protected].

Here are the details and how you can sign up to watch:

  • What: Reading, Writing and Reopening
  • When: 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 28
  • Where: We will livestream this via Crowdcast and you can register here. We will simultaneously livestream this to our Facebook page and will share a recording of the event.

This week, the state teachers' union and the St. Vrain Valley School District each offered their plans for what needs to be in place to ensure a safe and successful learning environment for our kids. You can read our coverage of those plans on our website.

This event is part of the Longmont Leader’s commitment to host community conversations around issues that matter.
