Workforce Boulder County offers series for minority-owned businesses

Minority business owners in Boulder County are invited to take part in a recruiting, hiring and retraining series to be held virtually this month by Workforce Boulder County. The series is being held to mark Workforce Development Month.

Participants will need to register for the series.

Recruiting & Hiring Talent

September 22, 2021

6-7:30 p.m.

This is an overview of how to recruit and hire talent in this market utilizing Workforce Boulder County’s services and resources as well as challenges faced by employers during the current labor shortage.

Training Talent

September 29. 2021

6-7:30 p.m.

This provides a look at Work Based Learning programs and how employers can access and utilize them as a way to recruit and retain talent.

Retaining Talent

October 6, 2021

6-7:30 p.m.

Cover strategies to retain an employer’s existing workforce, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional training in Spanish will be offered in October, according to a Boulder County news release.
