Photo from pixabay.com Longmont is again seeing scammers who are able to make it appear as if they are calling from a legitimate number, including the City of Longmont.

This past Thursday evening, I attended the dress rehearsal of the 18th annual performance of The Nutcracker by the Centennial State Ballet.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS A Longmont resident in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way reported a theft from her vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

As the song says, "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas," but the holiday classic also acknowledges that, as the school break drags on and kids get bored, "Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again.

THEFT A Fort Collins business reported burglary and theft in the 1000 block of Alta Vita Court. Case is closed due to a lack of suspect information. CIVIL A civil matter was reported in the 600 block of Frontage Road.

Photo from pixabay.com The City of Longmont will fly an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), or a drone, along St. Vrain Creek today, weather permitting. The flight is scheduled for mid to late morning.

Longmont's City Council gave initial approval at Tuesday's regular session to move forward with a new ordinance the requires relocation or a permit for the extermination of prairie dogs on private property within Longmont city limits.
