Boulder County Logo Source: Boulder County website The Boulder Office of Emergency Management has received approval from the Board of County Commissioners to release and publicize the 2018 Hazard Mitigation Update Report .

During the weekend of Dec. 7, Longmont Public Safety welcomed a total of 10 new graduates to its ranks. Seven of those graduates graduated from the police academy while the remaining three graduated from the firefighter's academy.

This is the fifth installment in a series about homelessness. It covers three community organizations that help those experiencing homelessness.

Treat Snackhouse on Main Street closed its doors on Dec. 14. Treat Snackhouse opened its doors in April 2018 and was located at 449 Main St. The Main St. shop served several snack options, coffee and offered catering options.

IDENTITY THEFT A Longmont resident reported an incident of identity theft. This case is closed due to lack of viable suspect information and jurisdictional issues.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, the Longmont City Council voted to approve an ordinance to amend chapters 4.79, 4.99, 15.05 and 15.10 of the Longmont Municipal Code on Inclusionary Housing.
