Sunday, August 19 MENACING On August 19, 2018 Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Findlay Ln in response to a felony menacing. A 41 year old female was threatened by a 39 year old male. This case is open for further investigation.

Centennial Pool (Photo by Ryan May) The City of Longmont announced on Friday, August 17, that entire facility of Centennial Pool is closed until further notice. The closure is due to a faulty sump pump that has caused damage to the mechanical room.

The Longmont Police Department recently announced that they will be hiring five sworn officers in 2019. The application process will close on Friday, August 24, 2018.
