As fall approaches, I have started to see raptors beginning to migrate. The other day I saw about 20 turkey vultures in the trees at the pond near Roger’s Grove. I figured now might be a good time to write about these amazing birds.

Longmont’s 2017 adulticide spraying program to treat for West Nile mosquitoes has ended for 2017. Mosquito traps numbers have fallen dramatically and spraying is no longer required.

BURGLARY On Monday, September 4th, 2017, Longmont Officers responded to the 2300 block of Main on a disturbance. One adult male was taken into custody. Case cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS On Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 0024 hours, Longmont Police investigated an attempted auto theft in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.
