Three Longmont Events Honor MLK The public is invited to three local events to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Longmont Commits to 100% Clean, Renewable Energy by 2030 Longmont, Colo.

January 9, 2018 — The City of Longmont has been awarded a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to fully fund sediment removal and erosion repair along Left Hand Creek through Longmont.

Longmont City Council will be voting on three ordinances tonight .

After a few months of real-world implementation, the City of Longmont is planning on adjusting and improving the city's municipal code relating to the impoundment of abandoned, publicly kept or junked vehicles.

AUTO THEFT A Denver, CO resident reported his vehicle was stolen from the 1400 block of Baker Street, Longmont, CO. The vehicle has been recovered and the case status is closed.

Ride Free Longmont is a City-funded program that provides unlimited free rides on all of RTD’s local Longmont bus routes. This free local bus system is available to everyone living, working, going to school, or just going out in Longmont.

The St. Vrain Valley School District will host their first school board meeting of the 2018 year on January 10, 2018. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be located in the Educational Services Center at 395 South Pratt Parkway, Longmont.
