The City of Longmont Office of Emergency Management is currently accepting applications for the 2017 – 2018 AmeriCorps Program.

In 1899, Longmont began the tradition of Pumpkin Pie Days. The pumpkin was the chosen as the mascot because it was the most uncommon crop grown in Longmont at the time.

FRAUD On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at about 1939 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Cedarwood Drive on a report of a fraud. Upon arrival officers found an adult male purchased $5,000.

Boulder County and 11 other agencies are currently working to develop a new county-wide, interactive, mobile trail map application. Boulder County is applying for grants to help fund this project.

ASSAULT On 100317, Officers took a report of an assault that occured in the 1700 block of Pace St. An adult male reported being assaulted by four other males. The case is closed.
