WELFARE CHECK On Friday, August 25, 2017, at 0421 hours, Longmont Police investigated a welfare check in the 1300 block of South Coffman Street, Longmont. The case was left open with a referral to Watch I officers.

The newly resurfaced courts include one basketball court and six pickle ball courts. As part of the City’s Park Renewal program , the courts at Hover Acres Park (1361 Charles Drive) have been resurfaced and re-opened as of Friday morning, August 25.

Longmont City Council unanimously voted Tuesday night for a ballot question asking Longmont's residents to vote on increasing the city's sales tax from 3.275 percent to 3.53 percent .

DEATH On Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at approximately 0200 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 5200 block of Bella Vista Dr. Longmont, CO, in reference to a medical assist. Upon further investigation, one adult male was pronounced deceased.
