One of Longmont’s favorite couples were celebrating the birth of some of their little chicks this weekend while the community got to enjoy the show.

Longmont Observer has received a press release issued by Longmont Museum that announces a new dinosaur exhibit called ' Dinosaur Discoveries: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas'.

Menacing On Saturday May 20th, 2017, at 11:53pm, the alert tones were activated for a call of an intoxicated man with a knife threatening others at an apartment at the 800 block of Grandview Meadows Drive.

Fraud On Saturday, 05-20-2017, Longmont Police were contacted by a Longmont resident in the 2300 block of Watersong Cir reporting several unauthorized transactions on her credit card. The case status is closed due to jurisdictional issues.

Automobile Accident On Friday May 19 at approximately 8:26am, Officer's responded to the 800 block of Baker St for the report of a 2 vehicle crash. Two people were arrested. This case is closed.

Domestic Incident On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at approximately 11:50pm, Longmont Police responded to a bar in the 300 block of Main St. Longmont, CO in reference to an assault. Upon officers arrival, they witnessed an unrelated domestic disturbance.

In 2011 Longmont’s Art In Public Places Committee initiated a community shock art project to give local people the opportunity to transform the plain green switchgear boxes around the city.

Theft On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 5:40am, Longmont Police investigated a bicycle theft in the 300 block of Coffman Street, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.
