Theft Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sumner St on a report of vehicle tires being stolen. Case will be closed due to no suspect leads.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT At approximately 9am, the Longmont Police took a report of a domestic incident occurring in the downtown area of the City. There is insufficient probable cause to support criminal charges, this case will be closed.

Longmont City Council Members approved bill O-2017-26 last night (May 2 nd , 2017) to rezone the Creekside business park, located at the southeast corner of Pike road and Hover street, from business light industrial (BLI) to residential high density.

Mayor Chiyokazu Yanagidaira of Chino, Japan will be visiting Longmont this week. He is slated to arrive with a small delegation Tuesday, May 2nd and stay until May 6th.
