LONGMONT, Colo. – Community members intent on obtaining free tickets to see internationally recognized autism and animal rights advocate Dr. Temple Grandin managed to crash the City of Longmont’s website for a few minutes on Monday morning .

FIRE On 08/08/2017 the Longmont Fire Department and Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Longs Peak Av. reference a garage fire. The resident had the fire extinguished prior to arrival.

You walk into your kitchen and see a strange sight. Many small insects crawling in a line across your counter. You realize you have sugar ants and are wondering what to do about it.

City of Longmont Planning and Developments Services has released the August 2017 active developments log. The log below shows development projects currently under review by the City of Longmont.

UPDATE: The City Council voted 6-1, with Polly Christensen dissenting, to approve the new ordinance language with a 48 hour (vs. a 72 hour) grace period. A second reading of the ordinance will still be held.

ASSAULT On 08/06/2017 at approximately 2347 hours, Longmont Police took a report of an assault in the 1600 block of Main Street. Two adult males were later arrest for assault. The case was cleared by arrest.

Longmont City Council will be holding a regular session on August 8, 2017, starting at 7pm in the Civic Center. The agenda will consist of: SPECIAL REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS A.

WARRANT ARREST On 08/06/17, at approximately 0356 hours, an adult male was located in the 1900 of Mountain View Avenue who had an active warrant for his arrest. The case was cleared by arrest.
