WARRANT ARREST On Monday, 07/31/17 Officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 Block of Kimbark Street for an attempt to locate. Suspect had an arrest warrant out of Longmont Municipal Court.

Congressman Jared Polis Congressman Ken Buck Jared Polis (D), Ken Buck (R) and possibly Governor John Hickenlooper (D) are attending a lunch time meeting at Longmont's Samples World Bistro at 370 Main Street.

A string of fires was intentionally set along the St. Vrain Greenway on Sunday night. They were north of Rogers Grove and east along a path near Ken Pratt Boulevard. Some of the fires grew to 75 square feet before being put out.

Coming in 2018, Markel Homes will begin construction on 75th and Nelson. During the city council meeting on July 25th, 2017, the second reading of O-2017-41 was held and city council members voted to pass the ordinance 7-0.

WARRANT ARREST On Saturday, July 29, 2017 at approximately 2223 hours, the Longmont Police Department initiated a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Sumner St.

There are two programs in Longmont that work to help keep kids out of gangs. One of these is the Gang Response and Intervention Program, or GRIP, run by Louie Lopez. Louie is the Community Coordinator with the City of Longmont.
