Police release sketch of man suspected in June home invasion, attempted sexual assault on child

According to police, the man illegally entered the home and fled on foot. The intruder is described standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short back hair and a heavy build.

Longmont police on Tuesday posted to Facebook a sketch of a man suspected in a home invasion / attempted sexual assault on a child that occurred in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street at 3:45 a.m. June 28.

According to police, the man illegally entered the home and fled on foot. The intruder is described standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short black hair and a heavy build. 

A similar incident occurred at the same residence on May 14, according to police who last month released a surveillance photo of a masked suspect from that incident.
