Investigation ongoing into attack on Honduran immigrant in Garden Acres park

The suspect in the attack has been interviewed but there have been confusing statements from witnesses that have to be weighed, said Longmont Detective Nicholas Aiello. Meanwhile, community members have rallied around the victim and are nearing the halfway mark in a fundraising campaign to help Jorge Rodriguez pay medical and auto repair bills in the wake of the attack.

No charges against Longmont officers who shot man who drew realistic looking BB gun

An investigation by the 20th Judicial District Critical Incident Team found the officers, Nathan Miller and Brian Macchione, were legally justified in “their use of reasonable and appropriate physical force” when they fired on Antonio D. Armstrong, the DA’s office stated in a news release.
