The Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their premier event, Unity in the Community on Thursday, February 22 from 5-7 p.m. The location of the event is the Plaza Conference Center located at 1850 Industrial Circle, Longmont.

Wibby Brewing took an inclusive approach to brewing their two newest beers: The Lager Family Dubbel and The Lager Family Wit, coined for the nickname of the Wibby Brewing staff.

Longmont's one-and-only Brewhop Trolley has acquired two additional trolleys and will add a new route to the Niwot and Gunbarrel brewery scene. The new route is expected to start March 24, 2018.

Shamin Hotels, a Richmond, Virginia based company, recently purchased the Pratt Company's hospitality campus, which includes the Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel located at 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont.

On February 11, Marco's Pizza , located at 1230 South Hover Street, will open its door. During the afternoon, Marco's Pizza will celebrate the event by serving free pizza.

Sometime in the summer of 2018, Dutch Bros Coffee, a drive-thru coffee company, will be opening a retail store in Longmont which will be located at 933 Main Street.

On January 21, 2018, uBreakiFix opened a new store located at 316 Main St. According to a press release given to the Longmont Observer, "This is the brand’s fourth location north of Denver, joining locations in Arvada, Lafayette, and Boulder.

After Jenna Poppenhagen and Nicole Boggs ran into hiccups while trying to open a new bar in Longmont, they met the owners of Dry Land Distillers and were approached about starting a new women's group in town.
