On Saturday October 6 at 2 p.m., the Longmont Observer and League of Women Voters of Boulder County will be hosting a debate between Congressman Ken Buck and Dr.

The City of Longmont has finalized its brochure discussing information on the November 2018 ballot issues. An early copy of the brochure can be found at the bottom of the article. These will be mailed out to voters in the next two weeks.

This is the third in a series of five articles about homelessness. It is based on an interview with the Public Safety Chief Mike Butler and police Deputy Chief Jeff Satur.

FRAUD A Longmont resident reported an incident of fraud in the 00 block of Reed Place in Longmont. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information and jurisdictional issues.

Longmont Sister Cities is now accepting applications for student ambassadors for their 2019 exchange program to Ciudad Guzman, Mexico and Chino, Japan. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, October 31.
