Longtucky Spirits, Saturday, June 23, 6 p.m. Longtucky Spirits is celebrating their First Anniversary and halfway to whiskey party! John and Howard will be tapping into their first batch of Rye Whiskey for a sneak peak of what is to come.

DISTURBANCE On 06/21/2018 Longmont police responded to the 400 block of S. Francis St., reference a welfare check on an intoxicated female. Upon arrival officers contacted an intoxicated adult female, who was uncooperative and resistive.

In Wednesday's Morning Brief , we stated that the fire at the Target, located at 551 S. Hover St. had been identified as arson. This was not true and was a misunderstanding on our part.

Chris McGilvray, owner of Longmont Liquors, is reaching out to the community to help him find who is responsible for breaking into his liquor store. On Sunday, June 17th at about 3:45 a.m.

FRAUD A Longmont resident found counterfeit money in the 900 block of Sunset Street. The case status is open and forwarded to Detectives for follow up. THEFT A Longmont resident in the 1400 block of Ashcroft Drive filed a report for a stolen bike.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF A Longmont resident in the 2000 block of Meadow Drive reported an incident of vandalism to his vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Enough talk, let’s get something done. By something, I mean a repeal of Longmont’s grocery tax. We’ve talked and heard the feedback.

On June 23, 2018, Vance Brand Airport will host the 2018 LMO Airport Expo. Vance Brand Airport is located at 229 Airport Rd., Longmont. Gates open at 7 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
