Daisy, a smart home and business automation company, is expanding into Boulder and Castle Rock. A.J. Kuhrmeyer is leading the branch as the previous franchisee of SaaviHome, which is a business that was acquired by Daisy in September 2024. The company’s clientele is primarily residential clients, but they also provide services to businesses.

“I’m thrilled to help expand Daisy’s presence in Colorado, a state with immense opportunity in the smart home market,” Kuhrmeyer said. “My mission is to enhance the quality of life for members of our community by making Boulder’s living spaces smarter and more efficient. With Daisy’s support, we’re already delivering innovative solutions to our clients and looking forward to setting new benchmarks for success in this dynamic industry.”

The company provides a wide variety of services including climate controls, security systems, lighting, wifi networks, and other home automation services. The most popular services are motorized shades and audio services.

Since the acquisition, Kuhrmeyer has added a project manager and business development manager to help the franchise expand. There are no current openings for the location, but a company spokesperson said the new branch hopes to expand in the near future.

Co-Founder and CEO Hagan Kappler praised Kuhrmeyer’s success in leading the new Boulder branch with support from Daisy. “A.J.’s proven leadership and rapid learning curve is a great example of the potential for future entrepreneurs entering this industry,” he said. “It has been great seeing how A.J.’s talented local team, combined with the Daisy resources and franchise support team, can lead to rapid success. We’re very excited to be serving Boulder customers under A.J.’s leadership.”
