Traditions vary, but the theme of gratitude pervades

RTD will change its operating schedule to a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day

New realities are hitting the wine and spirits industry in 2020. Sales are up at stores across the local area but trends are unpredictable and many distributors have experienced shortages. While holidays typically bring a boost in sales, the transactions now occur over a number of days instead of one or two.

Starting Tuesday, weekly free drive-up nasal swab COVID testing will be offered in the parking lot shared by Lashley Street Station and Clark Centennial Park.

The OUR Center’s annual meal is a casualty of COVID, but food will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. HOPE will hold an evening meal at 5:30 p.m. at Faithpoint Church.
