Longmont police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two people suspected of shoplifting more than $1,000 worth of jeans on July 11. 

The U.S. Census Bureau on Tuesday announced that starting July 30, personnel will begin following up with households in select areas in Colorado that have not yet responded to the 2020 Census.

In an email Tuesday, the library put out a call for oral histories to be part of a local project dubbed #StrongmontStories, Sharing in Place.

The Center for Integrated Manufacturing is the only college facility in the state with four advanced manufacturing programs under one roof, according to FRCC officials.

The majority of the 11-member task force will be women and people of color. Representatives from the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, college students, senior citizens and the unhoused also are sought for the board. 

According to police, the man illegally entered the home and fled on foot. The intruder is described standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short back hair and a heavy build.

Sarah Morgan took over formal ownership of Martinis on July 1. Now when she talks about her hopes for the restaurant, a lot of her statements revolve around what she wants to serve customers and what it’s been like to welcome them back after COVID-19 closures.

The second phase of the program, which will provide grants to minority-owned businesses, has reached $70,000 of its $100,000 goal, said Eric Hozempa, executive director of the Longmont Community Foundation.
