Longmont police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man suspected of defrauding an elderly woman out of $40,000.  

The Aging Services Foundation of Boulder County wants to purchase refurbished smart tablets for senior centers and communities throughout Boulder County. The tablets will be loaded with message and video apps, e-books and links to community resources.

The ordinance creates a dismount zone on Main Street sidewalks between First and Longs Peak avenues, prohibiting riding a bicycle or other similar modes of transportation in the stretch of Main.

Boulder County Public Health reported 25 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, marking the highest one-day new case increase since a spike in mid-June that was linked primarily to large gatherings. 

Cause of the fire is still under investigation but is suspected to be human-caused

Inducted into the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame in 2012, Jack Greiner died in 2016 and left behind a legacy in aviation. His former Longmont home, complete with airplane hangar and landing strip, is now for sale.

When police bodycam video of the shooting will be released will be determined by the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, police spokesman Jeff Satur said. “The investigation by the Boulder County investigations team and the DA’s office is likely three weeks out,” he said.

The Longmont musicians known as Clandestine Amigo have been signed to Boulder-based recording label Octave Records. The album is set to release sometime this summer, dependent on reproduction schedules.
